1908
For the 1908 model year all car lines remain unchanged as the Model T is prepared for a October launch. Ford dealers receive first Model T catalogs, early assembly line experimentation begins using ropes and pulleys. The Ford Model K price is slashed by $1000 dollars as the car is phased out. Sales drop to just over 10,000 vehicles and the market share plumits to 16 percent down nearly 20 percent from a year ago. roughly 800 "two pedal" cars are built before the Model T switchs to the three pedal design. 1908 would be the last year until 1932 with more than one model.
