For 1909 all other models of Ford cars have been discontinued. The car Henry Ford is interested in building is the Model T, The Model T is available in five different body styles. Sales reach almost 18,000 Model T's, Fords market share is still down at 14 percent. 1909 First Ford dealership opens its doors in Dallas, TX.
Ford enters two cars in the New York-to-Seattle race, one wins but later is disqualified after being a accused of replacing the engine sometime along the race route.
