All Fords undergo price cuts for 1911, the Touring which is the most popular in the Ford lineup. Last year it cost $950 dollars, after the price cuts the same car can be bought for $780 dollars. The growing demand for the Model T was met by expansion of satellite assembly operations. A St.Louis Missouri, assembly site opened in 1911. The touring car production total was over
26,000 cars while the little coupe just sold a mere 45 cars. One of the new models of T
this year is the roadster.
