1918
By the end of 1918 Henry Ford will step down as President of Ford Motor Company, he will be replaced by Edsel Ford. The convertible "couplet" has been dropped from the line-up. It has been replaced by the closed coupe that makes its return. More Ford assembly facilities are converted to the production of war material. A plant to build sub chasing "Eagle Boats" established on the future site of Ford's Rouge complex.
