Ford Motor Company purchases the Lincoln Motor Company for $8 millions dollars. Edsel Ford named President of Lincoln Motor Company, Ford Production soars to 1.2 millions vehicles built. Exports account for more than eight percent of total sales. A race modified Model T wins a pikes peak hill climb. Seventy-three percent of new Fords are now sold on credit.
