1954 Hudson Hornet

1954 was the final year for the famous step-down design for Hudson. This car sold new for $2769.00 and weighed 3620 pounds. This car has the "hot" 7X engine. A man known as "Doc Hudson" from Denver, CO owned this car for almost 25 years. He restored the car and added many Hudson accessories, including the ultra rare rear wheel sanders. The car also has automatic transmission, radio, heater, side window visors and dual carb Twin H-Power. The final VIN # for 1954 production was 7319720. This car is VIN # 7318357 which means it was built in late September, 1954. 1954 would be the last year that Hudsons would be built in Detroit, MI. 1954 would also see the merger with the Nash-Kelvinator forming the American Motors Corporation. All production was moved to the Nash Plant in Kenosha, Wis.
